Can dogs eat coffee?

Coffee, tea and other caffeine sources are documented as toxic to dogs. Caffeine is a stimulant closely related to the theobromine in chocolate, and dogs are more sensitive to it than people. Used coffee grounds, tea bags and caffeine tablets are described as concentrated sources worth keeping out of reach.
