Can dogs eat alcohol?
Toxic to dogs. Dogs are far more sensitive to alcohol than people, in any drink or food.
Alcohol is documented as toxic to dogs, which are much smaller and more sensitive to it than people. It affects them the same way it affects humans but at far lower doses, and can depress breathing and body temperature. Sources include drinks, some desserts and uncooked yeast dough, which produces alcohol as it rises.
